Native to South America, Mexico, and the West Indies, tobacco (Tabacum) is an annual or bi-annual plant that grows 4-6 ft (1-2 m) high and bears pink flowers and huge sticky leaves that contain Nicotine and grow as long as 2-3 ft (0.6-1 m) and about half as wide.
