Australian Embassy at JCD

On Thursday, January 24, 2012, a delegation from the Australian Embassy visited the rehabilitation center of Saint Theresa of Jesus the Child in Jouret El Termos – Ftouh Keserwan. Mr. Elie Lahoud, JCD’s president, Mrs. Samar Boulos and Ms. Nadine Najjar received Mr. Luke Heilbuth, Second Secretary at the Australian Embassy, and Mrs. Pascale Semaan, the responsible of Cultural and Consular Affairs, in the center and explained to them about the history of JCD. The delegation also met with the residents at the center and asked about their needs and the proposed projects which could help in developing the rehabilitation center and supporting the rehabilitation program and its residents in order to study any sponsorship possibility.
